As an Organizational Communications major at the University of Portland, I enjoy researching topics related to communicating issues of environmentalism, gender, and the intersectionality of global affairs. Beyond academics, I love analyzing movies and connecting with nature.

The Importance of Women in film

Not only do women belong in all fields, but they must be positively represented in the media we consume. The impact of women on screen holds more power than was we think as a society. Representation of all women creates a space where young girls feel recognized and inspired to follow their dreams. All women deserve to be recognized as strong individuals through their portrayal in film.​
